What do I really want? 

A corner of the house which belongs to me

Where there is brightness and source of air 

Where I can sit and see rain drops falling on the transparent white glass 

Where I can have my cozy chair 

Where I can straighten my legs and wrap a silky blanket 

Where I can sip hot green tea and indulge myself in a silly series or a book 

Where I can listen to my favourite music and slip in the dream world in bright day light 

Where I can be myself 

 

Where I can be at peace 🕊️

Ponder upon the reasons of your success

Ponder to understand your soul 

 

And strategize to avoid or take advantage of the same. 

believe in yourself

Whenever u feel clueless ,

Or the people around you are against you

Or they are from different planet all togather 

Then forget the rest 

And belive the best

Best is no one other than your good old soul

Which has been by your side through thik and thin 

Through the love at first sight till the heartbreak 

Through the rains drops falling on your face till water drops pouring from your eyes 

Through initial baby steps till running away from toxic things and people 

Through the words you spoke unknowingly till the words you choose not to speak. 

Every minute of your life and 

Every beat of your heart 💓

Your soul has always been with you. 

Don't loose yourself in pleasing people

Their opinions

Their comments 

Their behaviour 

Their actions

Their expectations 

 Don't let their hypocrisy let you down

Don't get carried away by their opinion, comment, behaviour, action push you to be who  ur not.

Be proud of yourself

Be who you are

Learn to divert your attention to your own development and hobbies.

Stop pleasing people who doesn't value your opinion

Stop burdening your soul to keep everyone happy and satisfied.

Happiness and peace is responsibility of oneself and not yours.

How u want coming years to be 

What are the things you want to buy yourself 

What are areas you need help

Taking sip of your favourite drink note down the possible options or plan 

Also note down the date by which these needs to be accomplished 

Set target for yourself 

Be it change in Career

Weight loss

Finding yourself 

Be it any thing 

Giving priority to yourself if of out importance.

Just think, 

what if .?

one fine day 

your school friend with whom you have lost contact since 15 years or more 

Calls you...

That feeling of listening to her voice is just magical as if you have again became the small 2nd standard girlS

Talking about the “mini world” created with few of your other fiends 

And you can see those images of golden memories reviving in front of ur eyes

And peeping in each other’s present worlds

And realising how far we have come 

How many important phases of our life we have missed

Uff the talks never ends and the treasures of all these years are yet to be shared with each other....

 

And it made me realised one important thing of life 

Never ever stop making friends and meeting people every single day

Because you never know when you are 60/70/80 years old and the friend you made today might call you and make u release the importance of present and how beautiful these current days are.

Are we really independent women.?

In our Indian society, these days it is claimed that female are independent and equivalent to men

But my question is really simple 

Are we really independent?

Even for one day can a married girl skip to cook at least one meal of the day?

Can she have an unplanned trip with her friends for one whole day ?

Can she be not judged for not attending any function and rather choose to be at home doing nothing without giving any fake excuses to her in-laws?

Can she walk out of door when guests arrive?

Can she tell her husband to stay in a separate house from his parents?

Can she not accept someone s parents as her own post marriage?

Can she call her in-laws as uncle aunty rather than “mom dad” because the fact remaining the same they are not her parents.

Independence not only means to be free of responsibilities but it is to treat an human being independent of his/her her gender. 

I agree even men would have such list of things that don’t want to tied into

But my motive is to bring light to the facts that are being ignored 

Still there are many grey areas where women are still tied up by the old laws of Indian society

Still the revolution of making an independent is not yet achieved completely 

Still the Indian men should be brought up in such manner that he is tough cooking and cleaning as his basic habits and still the society need to learn that born with a uterus doesn’t mean they are by default made to cook and clean and take care of house.

Taking baby steps towards our dreams

Many a times we set some expectations from our own self

And when they are not fulfilled we tend to feel sad, depressed and unmotivated.

Rather than focusing on what went wrong and why we are not able to fullfil our wishes 

We should aim at taking productive steps towards our goal 

Plan the initial steps and note it down on pen and paper 

Mark a tick against it once it is done

And repeat this activity till we complete our aim.

Generally we give priority our work or household chores

From today let’s aim at fulfilling our own dreams

By giving priority to our own self.

Let’s be selfish 

Once for our own good

To have peace within  and with ourself

Let’s live once for ourself.

Challenging myself with one story a day for a 30 days starting from today.

Hello all,

 Let me tell you something about myself first.
I am a girl who has really big dreams and ambitions but everything without a pinch of luck
Thus end up working hard , ever complaining, never satisfied in life

My current problems are I never do what is in my mind,
I want to loose weight but never take productive steps for the same,
I hate my job but doesn’t have guts to leave it with the fear of being at home forever

Thus bored with my existing pattern of complaining
Today I am taking a step forward and challenging myself .

From today I.e 13 March 2020 till 13 April 2020

I will write at least one blog a day and take one step forward to fulfilling my dreams.

Comments are welcome and criticism too.

But do keep in mind I am me and in completely I love with myself.
